General Assembler

Local shop located in Cedar City, UT is growing rapidly, and we are looking to add a Manufacturing Assistant to our team. The Manufacturing Assistant’s responsibilities will start with packaging kits, doing inventory counts and core teardowns. As the Manufacturing Assistant develops proficiency and new skills, additional duties and opportunities will be awarded.

General Information

• Full-time, Monday through Friday
• Hours are typically between 8am-5pm
  
  

Primary Responsibilities

• Assembling parts kits
• Conducting Core Teardowns and Cleaning such as Injectors and Injection Pumps
• Doing Inventory counts
• Completing other tasks as required to assist with painting performance parts, and completing shop improvement projects
  
  

Qualifications

• Must be able to work in a shop environment
• Must be able to safely perform physical work, including lifting up to 100 lbs
• Must possess a professional attitude: self-starting, willing to learn, and be a team player
• Must be attentive to detail: always strive for accuracy, identify defects with parts at all stages of production, and effectively inspect returned parts for warranty eligibility
• Must have strong work ethic: willing to seek out assignments or tasks that need to be completed
• Must be able to operate within streamlined production systems, and contribute to those production systems using continual improvement concepts
• Must be able to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area
  
  

Skill Requirements

• Education: formal training/education is not necessary but will receive preference
  
  

Job Type: Full-time Temporary with long term potential

Pay: $15.00/hr
