- RESPONSIBILITIES
- Paint Department
- Read and interpret travelers, prints, and instructions on color, gloss, texture, and masking.
- Prepare paint and coatings and use equipment to implement proper mix ratios.
- Track and place orders for material in response to inventory levels.
- Control material costs by maximizing efficiency and material usage.
- Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs.
- Quality Assurance
- Inspect parts prior to processing and report defects accordingly.
- Monitor parts throughout the paint process to ensure delivery of quality parts.
- Adhere to regulatory, safety, customer, and internal guidelines for material handling.
- Maintain clean, orderly, and organized work area.
- HS diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience with HVLP painting and auto body work is preferred
- Knowledge of paint formulation or color matching systems are preferred
- Prior knowledge or experience is not a direct requirement, training will be provided as needed
