This role involves creating, editing, and proofreading various technical documents, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality and accuracy. The Technical Writer will collaborate with subject matter experts to gather information and produce user-friendly documentation that enhances understanding and usability.

Duties

• Develop and write clear, concise technical documentation including user manuals, guides, and online help content.
• Conduct thorough research to gather information from various sources, including interviews with subject matter experts.
• Edit and proofread documents to ensure clarity, consistency, and adherence to company standards.
• Utilize word processing software and tools such as Microsoft Word and Visio for document creation and design.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product features and functionalities for accurate documentation.
• Maintain an organized repository of documentation for easy access by team members and stakeholders.
• Ensure all documentation is up-to-date with the latest product changes or updates.
  
  

Requirements

• Proven experience in technical writing or a related field.
• Candidates for this position must be able to read and interpret blueprints.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas in a clear manner.
• Proficient in word processing software (e.g., Microsoft Word) and diagramming tools (e.g., Guardian).
• Excellent research skills to gather information from diverse sources effectively.
• Strong proofreading abilities with keen attention to detail for editing documents.
• Familiarity with technical writing principles and best practices.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
