- Installation and Assembly: Install machinery and equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, and other drawings.
- Maintenance and Repair: Perform regular maintenance and repairs on machinery, equipment, and systems, ensuring optimal functionality and reliability.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose mechanical problems and take corrective action to resolve issues, minimizing downtime.
- Alignment and Calibration: Align and calibrate machinery and equipment parts as required for efficient operation.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety standards and protocols in all tasks and operations. Identify safety hazards and report them promptly.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed. Complete work orders and paperwork in a timely manner.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other maintenance team members, production operators, and supervisors to achieve production goals.
- Training and Development: Stay updated on advancements in machinery and equipment technology. Participate in training programs as required.
- Proven experience as a Millwright or similar role in an industrial setting.
- Strong mechanical skills and knowledge of machinery and equipment operation.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
- Knowledge of safety standards and regulations.
- Good troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy equipment and work in various conditions.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification from a technical school or apprenticeship program is a plus.
