Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Purlin Mill Operator to join our team. This role is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining the purlin roll forming machine to produce high-quality metal purlins used in roofing and structural applications. The ideal candidate will have experience in machine operation, metal fabrication, or manufacturing and be committed to safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate the purlin roll forming machine according to production specifications.
• Monitor machine operation to ensure proper shaping, cutting, and sizing of metal purlins.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure purlins meet company and industry standards.
• Load and unload raw materials and finished products using forklifts or cranes as needed.
• Read and interpret blueprints and production orders.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
  
  

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating roll forming machines or working in metal fabrication preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods
