Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily medication intake and ensure accurate documentation.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of residents at all times.
- Call pharmacy for prescription refills as needed.
- Engage residents in social activities and provide companionship.
- Document any changes in behavior or health.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary living environment for residents.
- Knowledge of resident rights and caregiving principles.
- Preferred experience in social work or long-term care.
- Familiarity with medication administration.
- Compassionate caregiving skills.
- Ability to work with individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Must obtain and maintain medication administration certification (training classes provided).
