Job Title: Retail Sales Associate / Warehouse

Location: Agoura Hills, CA

Pay: $20 per hour

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Job Description

We are seeking a Retail Sales Associate / Warehouse worker with forklift experience to join our team in Agoura Hills, CA. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, assist with product selections, and support the warehouse team by handling physical tasks, including lifting heavy tile boxes. Additionally, experience in sales floor operations and construction knowledge is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service
• Assist customers with product selection and offer guidance on features and benefits
• Conduct product demonstrations
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash handling
• Maintain an organized and clean sales floor
• Stock shelves and merchandise products
• Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries professionally
• Operate a forklift to move and organize inventory
• Assist with lifting heavy tile boxes in the warehouse
• Apply construction knowledge to provide customers with relevant product advice
  
  

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
• Multilingual abilities are a plus
• Basic math skills for cash handling and calculating discounts
• Knowledge of retail math principles for inventory management and sales tracking
• Ability to build customer rapport and provide excellent service
• Previous experience in sales floor operations
• Forklift experience required
• Construction knowledge or experience is a plus
• Ability to lift and move heavy items, including tile boxes
• Phone etiquette and professional communication skills
• Experience with computers and Excel is helpful
