Express Employment Professionals is seeking a skilled and dedicated Wastewater Technician for a local City Department to join their team. As a Wastewater Technician you will maintain, repair a variety of mechanical, electrical and electronic parts and equipment at the Citys Wastewater Treatment facility.
Responsibilities :
Performs a variety of general repairs of mechanical, electrical and electronic parts and equipment of the wastewater plant, including repairing
Performs a variety of preventative maintenance of plant equipment as scheduled time intervals as required including checking belts, bearings, seal leaks, changing oil and lubricants
Provides basics maintenance and repair of electrical components on plant equipment, including troubleshooting and diagnosing problems as necessary
Maintaining complete and accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities, including maintaining records of used parts, stock items, and labor hours as required.
Performs tests of equipment following maintenance and repairs to ensure safe and efficient operation of equipment as required
Operates a variety of hand and power tools, and other maintenance related vehicles and equipment, including but not limited to welder, cutting torch, backhoe, forklift and hydro cleaning truck
Qualifications :
High school diploma or GED required
1 years experience in Industrial Mechanics or auto mechanics training
Ability to work in a physical demanding condition
Ability to efficiently operate and repair wastewater service-related equipment as required including hand and power tools, vehicle and related machine and equipment
Computer skills : Ability to operate a personal computer using standard and customized software applications
Schedule : Day Shift
Monday thru Friday
Pay :
20.00 / hr - $26.87 / hour DOE
