Position : Finance and Accounting Controller
Scope :
The Accounting Controller is responsible for all financial planning, reporting, analysis, and internal control functions. Additional responsibilities include cash management and defined benefit and retirement plan funding.
Requirements :
- In-depth understanding of accounting and business concepts;
- Excellent customer service skills;
- Strong leadership ability to lead and develop a team of accounting professionals :
- Problem solving and critical thinking skills;
- Proven ability to establish / maintain interpersonal relationships;
- Extensive experience in corporate accounting;
- Proficiency in financial software applications including QuickBooks;
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy;
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate across departments;
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
- 4-6 years in Accounting Controller experience
Duties :
Wage : $70,000 annually
Benefits : Accrued sick leave and optional medical benefits provided by Express Employment during probationary period. Full benefits once hired by the company. Possibility of direct hire option.
Schedule : Monday-Friday 9am-5pm
Work Site : Indoor, office setting. Durango, CO.
