As we prepare to open a new clinic in Jonesboro, AR, we are looking for a passionate and experienced Front Desk Receptionist/Phlebotomist.
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Front Desk Receptionist/Phlebotomist to join their team. In this dual-role position, you will be responsible for both providing exceptional front desk support and performing phlebotomy procedures in a clinical setting. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong ability to multitask, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Front Desk Operations:
- Greet and assist patients in a friendly and professional manner.
- Manage appointment scheduling and coordinate patient flow.
- Handle billing and invoicing tasks accurately.
- Maintain organized patient records and ensure confidentiality.
- Answer phone calls, address patient inquiries, and provide exceptional customer service.
Phlebotomy Services:
- Perform venipuncture and specimen collection according to safety and hygiene standards.
- Ensure accurate labeling and documentation of samples.
- Maintain clean, well-organized equipment and work areas.
Administrative Support:
- Assist with office organization, paperwork, and filing.
- Use Microsoft Office Suite and other office technology to manage tasks and improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with the team to improve office and clinic operations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a phlebotomist or in a medical front desk role preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and staff.
- Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in all tasks.
- Proficiency with technology, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times.
