Counter Sales Person

Express Employment Professionals, Laguna Hills is recruiting Counter Salespeople for a fast-growing company located in Costa Mesa

Service Line: Evaluation to Hire, Fulltime

Pay: $21/Hr. to $22/Hr. DOE

Schedule: M-F 8:00AM – 5:00PM | One Saturday a month 7:00AM – 11:00AM

Responsibility:

·         Greet and assist customers at the sales counter.

·         Process, fill, and finalize sales orders, ensuring signatures on tickets.

·         Provide product information, pricing, and availability.

·         Maintain clean, stocked, and organized counter displays.

·         Monitor and report customer credit concerns to management.

·         Handle returns and refunds according to company policy.

·         Support warehouse tasks: stocking, pulling orders, and answering calls.

·         Ensure safety, security, and adherence to all company procedures.

Requirements:

·         Excellent customer service and communication skills.

·         Strong product knowledge and ability to recommend complementary items.

·         Ability to build lasting customer relationships.

·         Team player with a proactive sales approach.

·         Basic math skills and ability to operate material-handling equipment and sales software.

·         High school diploma or equivalent.

·         1–2 years of customer service or counter sales experience; contractor sales a plus.

Physical & Environmental Requirements:

·         Stand 75% | Walk 20% | Sit 5%

·         Frequently lift/carry up to 80 lbs, push/pull up to 200 lbs.

·         Must have manual dexterity, vision, hearing, and ability to use tools and equipment.

·         Work in warehouse settings with exposure to hazardous materials and non-climate-controlled environments.
