Express Employment Professionals is seeking several Legal Assistants to join the a company located in Grand Island, NE. The successful candidate for this role will be possess high attention to detail and will have excellent communication skills. This is a day-shift opportunity with pay starting at $16/hr and the potential to turn into a long-term career.
Position Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of legal documents including briefs, motions, and contracts
- Transcribe legal documents and accurately document correspondence
- Proofread documents for accuracy and compliance with legal standards
- Maintain organized physical and digital case files for easy retrieval
- Schedule appointments, court dates, and meetings
- Other duties as assigned
Experience/Education/Skills:
- 1 year of experience in an office setting required
- Computer proficiency and previous experience with Microsoft Suite required
- High attention to detail with strong time management skills
- Dependable with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks for several different projects
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Adaptable and capable of working independently and solving problems
Schedule/Pay:
- Monday through Friday
- Pay starting at $16/hr
- Employees paid weekly!
