Cabinet Maker/Installer

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a skilled Cabinet Maker to join a local team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in woodworking and cabinet installation, with experience in the restoration industry. This role involves crafting high-quality cabinets, ensuring precise measurements, and delivering exceptional craftsmanship. The Cabinet Maker will work closely with clients and contractors on various projects, including residential and commercial spaces.

Responsibilities

• Construct, assemble, and install cabinets according to specifications and schematics.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and preferences for custom cabinetry.
• Execute heavy lifting and maneuvering of materials and finished products on construction sites.
• Hang doors and install hardware as part of the cabinet installation process.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
• Troubleshoot issues related to cabinet installation or restoration, providing solutions as necessary.
• Assist with drywall repairs or other maintenance person tasks that may arise during projects.

Requirements

• Proven experience in cabinet making or related fields such as woodworking or carpentry.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Strong skills in cabinet installation, including door hanging and finishing touches.
• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work on construction sites safely.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift

Experience:

• Cabinet installation: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
