Forklift Operator/Warehouse Worker

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join a dynamic warehouse team in Athena, OR.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently loading and unloading product and ensuring that all operations comply with safety standards. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts safely to load and unload materials from trucks and storage areas.
• Utilize RF scanners for inventory management and tracking purposes.
• Perform order picking tasks to fulfill shipping requirements accurately.
• Assist in shipping and receiving operations, ensuring all products are accounted for and properly documented.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency.
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment.
• Execute heavy lifting tasks as required, handling loads up to the specified weight limits.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Forklift Operator or in a similar role within a warehouse environment.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• A valid forklift operator certification is highly desirable.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Experience:

• Forklift: 2 years (Required)
• Warehouse: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
