A leading regional distributor of automotive equipment is looking for a full time administrative assistant to join their growing team. The administrative assistant is needed to manage the office, answer phones and support sales and customer service staff. Candidate should be reliable, have a strong work ethic, good problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail. Company sells are services equipment in seven states but has a small office and candidate will be required to step into many roles as needed. Company has a strong financial position, primarily works with state and local government customers and is growing rapidly.
About the Role - Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Answer phones and manage office needs
- Interact regularly with customers, maintain customer files and place orders with vendors
- Manage trade shows and marketing materials
- Manage and allocate all credit card expenses
- Provide accounting support such as credit card processing and tracking
- Provide sales and service support for seven states
Qualifications - Requirements:
- Excellent command of the English language and ability to display good phone etiquette in a professional and positive manner
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Good computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
- Bachelors or Associates Degree and at least three years of experience in an office environment
- Ability to follow through on assigned tasks and strong analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail, willingness to manage numbers and research and resolve discrepancies
Salary : $60,000 - $65,000
