Estimator/Draftsman
We're looking for a proactive Estimator/Draftsman to play a key role in our hands-on approach to project management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate bid specifications, create accurate shop CAD drawings, and prepare winning proposals as the Lead of the Bid Process.
- Think critically to minimize exclusions, ensure accuracy, and provide value-engineering solutions on every bid as a Problem-Solver.
- Work closely with our saw shop to bring designs to life while ensuring on-time and correct production as a Project Manager.
- Engage with architects, contractors, and customers to develop trust and long-term partnerships by Building Strong Relationships.
- Gain Hands-On Experience by learning to operate heavy machinery and expanding your skill set beyond the office.
- Visit job sites, review drawings, and assist the Project Management team in making sure every detail is on point to Ensure On-Site Success.
Requirements:
- Experience in project management (preferred).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2013 ) and Microsoft Office.
- A strong understanding of construction techniques and blueprints.
- A proactive, positive attitude with excellent customer service skills.
- Knowledge of the stone industry or masonry is a plus.
