SITKA Gear - Retail Associate

We are hiring a part-time Retail Associate for SITKA Gear's growing retail team.

This position is seasonal with the opportunity to turn into a long-term possibility!

**All hiring will be handled through your local Express Employment Professionals.**

General Job Duties:

• Provide exceptional customer service and experience to everyone walking through the door
• Become a brand expert on all things SITKA
• Assist in inventory procedures, allocation and replenishment, third party orders, shipping, receiving, cycle counting etc.
• Work with the Visual Merchandiser to uphold merchandising standards to create an appealing in-store experience.
• Maintain cleanliness of the store by sweeping, vacuuming, emptying trash, cleaning bathrooms etc.
• Complete all sales, returns and exchange transactions effectively and accurately
• Assist with DEPOT events.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Positive attitude, goes above and beyond for customers
• 1 years of customer service and/or retail experience preferred
• Previous retail knowledge (POS, Inventory, customer service, and sales) preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-past paced environment
• Knowledge of outdoor gear preferred
• Must love outdoors, hunting knowledge preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Stand for the duration of the shift
• Move and process shipments
• Ability to lift 45 lbs.
• Operate general office equipment (phones, computers etc.)

Shifts: MUST be available for days, nights, weekends and holidays. M-Sat (open 9:30am-6:30pm) (close 10:30am-7:30pm), Sunday (10:30am-6:30pm)

Pay: $17/hr.
