Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Center Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and supporting the infrastructure of our data center, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. This role requires a strong understanding of computer networking, hardware, and various tools used in the industry. The Data Center Technician will play a crucial role in the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of network equipment and systems.

Full Time : Monday to Friday

Pay rate : $19.00 to $32.00 per hour

Must be willing to travel to Columbus OH for training, all expenses paid.

Previous experience preferred.

Duties

• Install, configure, and maintain data center equipment including servers, routers, and switches.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on hardware to ensure optimal performance.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools for equipment installation and repairs.
• Conduct network installations and assist with troubleshooting network issues.
• Monitor CCTV systems to ensure security protocols are followed within the data center.
• Use an ohmmeter to test electrical connections and troubleshoot any electrical issues.
• Collaborate with IT teams to support computer networking tasks and resolve technical problems.
• Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and installations accurately.
