Manufacturing Business Development Representative

Location : Cincinnati, OH

Compensation : $150K base Sign-On Bonus

Industry : Defense Industry

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in Business Development, Sales, or a related role.
  • Previous experience in the Defense, Aerospace, or Space Industries.
  • Previous experience in vertically integrated contract manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of multi-axis machining, welding, deep hole drilling, and flow forming.

Job Summary :

The Aerospace Manufacturing Business Development Representative will be instrumental in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the defense, aerospace, and space industries. Working closely with sales and operations teams, and will develop and execute strategies to drive revenue growth and establish strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Primary Responsibilities :

  • Achieve or exceed sales and order targets set by leadership.
  • Promote company products and services by understanding and addressing client objectives.
  • Identify new industries and target customers to meet sales goals.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Actively manage and nurture customer relationships through the development funnel.
  • Oversee opportunities at every sales funnel stage, ensuring accurate CRM tracking.
  • Collaborate with sales and technical teams to create compelling proposals and presentations.
  • Tailor proposals to meet client needs and highlight the benefits.
  • Prepare and submit weekly bookings forecasts.
  • Assess and report on product sales, competitor activities, business development opportunities, and market conditions.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and events.
  • Foster teamwork within the offices and collaborate with program managers and cross-functional teams.
