Job Description :

We are currently seeking a motivated and dedicated Cemetery Services Technician & Memorial Installer to fill a unique and specialized role within the cemetery services field. This position involves the delivery, installation, and engraving of granite memorials, and while the skill set may be niche, we value individuals who have an interest in this type of work. Experience in masonry , bricklaying , or other hands-on roles involving equipment handling and material installation will serve as an excellent foundation for success.

Key Responsibilities :

Delivery & Installation : Safely load, deliver, and install granite memorials at cemeteries according to scheduled routes.
Engraving : Perform final sandblast engraving of memorials with precision and accuracy.

Work preformed onsite at cemetery.

Verification : Confirm that all granite memorials match order specifications and are accurately installed.

Customer Communication : Communicate directly with customers on-site to assess satisfaction, provide information, and address concerns.

Record Keeping : Maintain accurate records of completed installations and take photos for upload to StoneSpot.

Safety Compliance : Use proper safety equipment and techniques, including forklifts, cranes, and respirators, to ensure safe material handling and installation.

Truck Maintenance : Keep the delivery truck clean, organized, and in good working condition.

Final Date Lettering :

Ensure stencil matches order and coordinates ETAs of routes to cemeteries for onsite sandblast engraving

With precision and accuracy, will layout stencil on granite memorial to sandblast final date

May call cemeteries to obtain grave locations

Communicates information from accounts to customer service

Required Skills :

Safe delivery driving and material handling experience.

Attention to detail and precision in installation and engraving.

Strong communication skills with both customers and team members.

Ability to operate forklifts, cranes, and follow safety guidelines.

Familiarity with project management software (StoneSpot ERP is a plus).

Physical capability to lift and handle heavy materials safely.

Organizational skills and the ability to manage delivery schedules.

Required Experience :

High school diploma or GED with at least 2 years of delivery driving experience.

Preferred : Associate degree or equivalent, with 2 years of relevant experience in driving, delivery, or hands-on installation (such as masonry or bricklaying ).

Clean driving record and forklift certification required.

Experience with project management software or similar tools is a plus.
