CNC MACHINIST/OPERATOR - DAY SHIFT

Located in Sherwood, OR

Salary : $27 - $30 / hour DOE

We're looking for a CNC Machinist to join a client of ours in Sherwood . This position entails operating a range of machines, including conventional, special purpose, and numerical control machines, as well as any other machines necessary for the job. It provides an excellent long-term opportunity to further develop skills in this field. #1939ST

This is an evaluation to full-time hire position.

Responsibilities :

• Interpret blueprints, sketches, and specifications to determine machining requirements.
• Mark and measure dimensions on workpieces for machining guidance.
• Select and align cutting tools, materials, and attachments on machines.
• Set controls to regulate machining factors or input commands into computerized systems.
• Verify finished workpiece conformity to specifications.
• Collaborate with engineers, production personnel, and programmers to address issues.
• Operate various machines (lathes, mills, hobs, drills) and secure parts for machining.
• Ensure accurate execution of part programs and adherence to Lean Manufacturing principles.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities (KSAs) :

Pay : $27 - $30 / hr. DOE

Schedule : Monday-Friday 6AM - 2 : 30PM

Safety Equipment Required : Steel-toed boots, metatarsal guards, long pants, and shirts covering the shoulders are required.
