Job Summary :
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee residential construction projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, excellent organizational and leadership skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with team members, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Responsibilities :
- Plan, coordinate, and manage all aspects of construction projects, including budgeting and scheduling.
- Review Home Order forms, change orders, and plans with homeowners before starting each project.
- Inform homeowners of their responsibilities and project timelines.
- Collaborate with subcontractors to ensure project specifications and quality standards are met.
- Review project plans and blueprints for accuracy and feasibility.
- Request and track change orders as needed.
- Create and maintain building schedules for subcontractors, suppliers, and homeowners using OnLocation.
- Monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to schedules and quality expectations.
- Conduct regular site visits to inspect workmanship and address any issues.
- Manage project budgets, tracking expenses and making necessary adjustments.
- Communicate project updates to homeowners and subcontractors, addressing questions or concerns.
- Oversee the scheduling and procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring timely returns of unused materials.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Oversee punch list completion and first-year warranty work.
- Recruit and maintain trade partnerships to support work demands and control construction costs.
- Ensure site and team adherence to safety compliance standards.
- Support team members as needed.
- Maintain company privacy and proprietary information policies.
