We are seeking a skilled and motivated Diesel and Gas Mechanic to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in diesel mechanics, or possess a degree in diesel technology.
This position requires a strong understanding of both diesel engines and standard gas motors, allowing you to diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of vehicles and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting on diesel and gas engines.
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on diesel trucks and standard gas vehicles.
- Replace and repair engine components, including fuel systems, electrical systems, and exhaust systems.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and parts used.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies to improve skills and service quality.
Qualifications:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in diesel and gas engine repair, or a degree in diesel mechanics.
- Proficient in the use of diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Must have own tools.
Pay: $25-$30 hour DOE
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7am-5pm, able to work overtime.
Physical Abilities: Able to lift 50lb
