Seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join a reputable mill in the Flathead Valley.

  • Consistent Schedule : Thursday - Sunday, 6 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM-enjoy three-day workweeks!
  • Dynamic Role : Work on a variety of heavy equipment, using advanced tools and techniques.
  • Hands-On Opportunity : Put your mechanical skills to work in a productive environment.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Perform routine maintenance, including fueling, oil changes, greasing, and filter replacements.
  • Inspect equipment for wear and damage, creating repair lists as needed.
  • Conduct repairs using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
  • Pressure wash, clean, and maintain equipment and the wash rack area.
  • Change tires and install / remove tire chains.
  • Operate equipment to test repairs and ensure functionality.
  • Manage parts inventory and organize deliveries.

    • What You'll Need to Succeed :

  • Mechanic Experience : Previous experience working with machinery is a must.
  • Tools : Must bring your own toolset.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain a clean, safe workspace.
