Overview
J&B Log stackers is seeking a skilled and experienced Industrial Fabricator to join our fabrication shop team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating and repairing parts for heavy industrial equipment, including yarders and Wagners, ensuring that all work meets high-quality standards and adheres to safety regulations. You will work with a team of professionals to provide custom solutions for our clients while maintaining a commitment to excellence in every task.
Responsibilities
- Fabrication : Perform welding, cutting, and shaping of metal components for the assembly and repair of industrial equipment, such as yarders and logstackers.
- Repairs : Conduct repairs and modifications to existing machinery, ensuring that all components function properly and meet safety standards.
- Blueprint Interpretation : Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure precise fabrication.
- Quality Control : Ensure that all fabricated parts and repairs meet industry standards and company specifications. Perform inspections to ensure structural integrity and performance.
- Safety Compliance : Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies. Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Equipment Maintenance : Maintain and troubleshoot fabrication tools and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and longevity.
- Collaboration : Work closely with other team members and departments to complete projects on time and within budget.
- Custom Solutions : Provide innovative and customized fabrication solutions for clients, ensuring the highest quality service.
