We are working with a leading property management company specializing in short-term vacation rentals on platforms like Airbnb. We are looking for reliable, detail-oriented, and proactive Property Cleaners to ensure that our rental properties are always presented at their best for guests. As a Property Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining high cleanliness standards, preparing homes for new guests, and providing a welcoming environment that enhances the guest experience. Must have reliable transportation as you could be traveling to Albany, Corvallis, and Philomath.
Key Responsibilities:
Cleaning & Sanitization: Perform deep cleaning tasks for rental properties, including cleaning bathrooms, kitchens, living spaces, bedrooms, and outdoor areas (if applicable). Ensure the property is sanitized and ready for guest check-in.
Linen & Laundry: Change bed linens, replace towels, and launder all linens as needed. Ensure all linens, towels, and other textiles are fresh and in good condition.
Staging Furniture: Arrange and stage furniture to ensure a visually appealing and inviting atmosphere for guests. This includes adjusting furniture, pillows, and décor as needed to meet aesthetic standards.
Inventory Check: Verify the availability and condition of items in the property, such as toiletries, kitchen supplies, and cleaning products. Report any missing or damaged items to the property management team.
General Maintenance & Tidying: Ensure the property is in perfect order, including wiping down surfaces, dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, and organizing items as needed.
Restocking Supplies: Replenish essential supplies like toiletries, toilet paper, cleaning supplies, and kitchen essentials.
Quality Control: Ensure that the property meets company standards for cleanliness and presentation. Address any issues or feedback that may arise from guests or management.
Guest-Friendly Environment: Ensure the property is welcoming, aesthetically pleasing, and comfortable for guests, with all necessary amenities in place.
Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience in cleaning, housekeeping, or janitorial services (experience in vacation rental properties is a plus).
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work efficiently under time constraints while maintaining high-quality standards.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to handle cleaning chemicals and tools safely.
Use of phone and app: Proficient with using a smartphone and app to receive and manage cleaning schedules and tasks.
Reliable Transportation: Must have dependable transportation to travel between properties as needed.
Availability to work on flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays, based on guest turnover.
Ability to adhere to health and safety guidelines and company cleaning protocols.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to perform physical tasks, including bending, lifting (up to 25 lbs), and standing for extended periods.
Ability to work in different weather conditions (if applicable to outdoor or multi-property cleaning).
