Job Description :

The Set Up / Maintenance Plastic Injection Molding Processor is responsible for the efficient setup, operation, and maintenance of plastic injection molding machines and related equipment while processing molds to ensure all production parts meet each customer's quality standards. This role ensures that the production process is optimized to produce high-quality products while minimizing downtime and maintaining a safe working environment. The position also involves collaboration with other departments to ensure alignment with production goals and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities :

Machine Setup and Operation :

• Prepare and Set Up Machines : Install and remove molds from presses, ensuring correct mold and part numbers per production schedule.
• Process Optimization : Adjust machine settings for optimal performance and product quality, including temperature, pressure, cycle time, and other parameters.
• Troubleshooting : Diagnose and resolve issues related to machine performance, mold conditions, or material inconsistencies.
• Quality Control : Monitor production to ensure consistent quality of output, making necessary adjustments to maintain standards.
• Collaboration : Work closely with Tool Makers, fellow Processors, Quality and Operations Departments to meet production and quality requirements.
