Hours : Mon-Fri 2p-1 : 30am, will train on 1st
Job Purpose : Reviews production orders and ensures that production schedules are met. Organizes assigned work, supervise, and assists employees in
daily work performance. Anticipates production and personnel problems and resolves problems to minimize their effect on production. Maintains good housekeeping and enforces safe work practices.
This position will work with the GM to build the 2nd shift

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements :
- High school graduate or equivalent
- 5 - 10 years of industry or relative experience
- Minimum of 2 years of management experience
- Hazwopper training and forklift license
- CEF preferred
- Hazardous waste training preferred
Duties & Responsibilities :
Responsible for the production schedule, including setting work schedules, and hiring employees to meet production goalsDevelop training schedules for new employees and evaluate the performance of workers, including directing employees in appropriate positions to increase productivityMaintain records for employees in the department, such as attendance and performance evaluationsImplement continuous improvement activities, such as quality improvement teams to reduce scrap and increase productivityDevelop, maintain, and adjust job routersConduct and distribute disciplinary actions to employeesPrepare production, safety, and other reports for upper management staffEstablish the objective & goals of the assigned department to enhance the production of the business and accomplish the targetsOther duties and responsibilities as assignedRequired Skills :
A manager must have leadership skills to direct employees toward production goalsGood organizational skills and the ability to give clear instructionsFamiliarity with plating specs and company spec libraryWorking knowledge of our plating process characteristics and limitationsAbility to read and interpret blueprints and drawingsAbility to interact with customers and co-workers in a professional mannerWritten and verbal communication skills are also necessary for the successful manufacturing managerMust be familiar with the methods of production used in the department including machineryAble to motivate, influence, and train peopleHaving a good eye for details to keep a check on all activities of the organizationGood communicator, team player, active listener, and possess strong decision-making skillsOutstanding customer service skills and the ability to maintain composure in stressful situationsOften wet or humid due to heated cleaning and plating tanks containing caustic and acidic solutionsExposure to moving mechanical parts, airborne particles, and heatNoise level is high (Hearing protection is required in the plant)Required safety equipment - as needed when on the shop floorComputer and standard office equipmentAbility to maintain a regular and reliable attendance recordAbility to manage multiple jobs at the same timeFluency in reading, writing, and speaking the English languageAbility to work independently without supervisionAbility to maintain a regular and reliable attendance recordAbility to manage multiple jobs at the same timeFluency in reading, writing, and speaking the English languageAbility to work independently without supervisionWays to Apply :
