Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced Swing Production Supervisor to oversee a skilled production labor workforce for a client company in the Greater Monroe, WA area. This role is crucial in ensuring safety, productivity, and quality within the department. Starting pay is $35 to $40 per hour plus benefits.
Swing Shift Schedule : 2 : 30 p.m. - 1 a.m. Monday - Thursday
You will be responsible for scheduling work, assisting with employee selection, reviewing performance, administering work rules, and recommending compensation. Your role will be essential in maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
Essential Functions :
- Oversee and manage the department workforce.
- Maintain a safe work environment with the goal of zero work-related injuries. Adhere to all safety procedures.
- Ensure quality standards are met according to established procedures.
- Understand and manufacture according to the production system.
- Achieve stated productivity goals.
- Apply the concepts of the Theory of Constraints and Lean Manufacturing.
- Coach, train, and develop personnel.
- Help establish and meet departmental budgets.
- Enforce all company policies fairly and consistently.
- Requisition consumables and other materials as needed.
- Ensure operator-performed equipment maintenance is done according to standards.
- Meet all company work schedule and attendance expectations.
- Use Oracle.
