Job Description

As the Property Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of properties in Mayfield and the surrounding areas. Your role will include overseeing tenant relations, lease administration, property maintenance, financial management, and ensuring compliance with all local regulations. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to provide excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Tenant Relations: Act as the primary contact for tenants, addressing their concerns and ensuring a positive living or working experience.
• Lease Administration: Manage leasing activities, including renewals, new leases, and rent collections.
• Property Maintenance: Coordinate regular maintenance and repairs, working with vendors to ensure properties are well-maintained.
• Financial Management: Develop and oversee property budgets, track expenses, and manage rent payments.
• Marketing & Leasing: Assist in marketing available units and conducting property showings to ensure high occupancy rates.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including safety and fair housing laws.
• Vendor Management: Hire and supervise contractors and maintenance vendors for services like repairs, cleaning, and landscaping.
• Reporting: Provide regular updates on property performance, occupancy, and financials to property owners.

Qualifications

• Experience: 1-2 years of experience in property management, preferably with residential or mixed-use properties.
• Skills:
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio, or similar) and Microsoft Office.
  • Solid understanding of local property laws and tenant rights.
• Certifications: CPM or CAM certification is a plus.
• Other: Must have reliable transportation and the ability to manage multiple properties.
