Pay : $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year

Responsibilities :

• Perform verification of in-process shop fabrication dimensions based on drawings and specifications.
• Conduct visual and NDT weld inspections.
• Develop procedures to ensure compliance and accurate documentation.
• Initiate ongoing audits and inspections to maintain high standards.
• Prepare inspection and test records, review vendor documentation.
• Inform production management of any issues affecting production, quality, or safety.
• Perform dimensional inspections on steel pieces after assembly.
• Inspect welding preparations and tack welds, report and address non-conformances.
• Update inspection progress in the system, interpret plans and standards, calibrate inspection tools.
• Maintain records adhering to QA / QC manual, policies, and AWS D1.1 standards.
• Track welding procedures and maintain organized records.
• Troubleshoot root cause analysis of defective products and present findings to the production manager.
• Coordinate with customers on project modifications and inquiries.
• Perform regular safety inspections to ensure compliance with safety program policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned by the General Manager.
