Express Employment Professionals is partnering with a global seed company in search of a Pre-Commercial Seed Processing Operator.

Essential Job Functions :

• Operate all seed processing equipment from initial receiving of incoming product from the fields through packaging of the finished product including cleaning equipment, gravity tables, sizing, rotary's, dryers, coloring and chemical application equipment, and packaging.
• Follow procedures, properly document cleanouts and processing steps / checks / weights, avoid contamination and ensure product is labeled correctly.
• Ensure quality and safety standards are met.
• Drive forklift to move inventory, pallets, etc.
• Train and lead seasonal processing crews in seed processing functions, make decisions in the supervisor's absence and take ownership for the product produced.
• Wear required Personal Productive Equipment (PPE) as needed and ensure PPE is used correctly.
• Cross-train in other positions to meet business demands.
• Develop and maintain respectful working relationships with all departments.
• Ensure Company Handbook, Group Standards and safety policies are followed.
• Occasionally travel and / or drive on behalf of the business.
• Meet attendance requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.
