Responsibilities :

Serve as the primary contact for clients , fostering strong relationships.

Collaborate with and oversee the bookkeeping department to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Review and manage bookkeepers' work , ensuring high standards of quality.

Assist the CPA with tax preparation and filing , especially during tax season.

Take charge of tax season coordination to ensure deadlines and compliance are met.

Provide training and mentorship to team members.

Handle additional accounting and tax-related duties as needed.

What We're Looking For :

2 years of tax preparation experience.

Proven ability to manage and mentor bookkeepers .

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with clients and staff.

Proficiency in accounting and tax software like QuickBooks, QBO, ProConnect, or Lacerte .

A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and client data security .
