What You Bring:
- Minimum 2 years HR experience with a broad understanding of HR functions.
- Ability to develop and implement effective HR policies and programs.
- Proficiency in HRIS and other HR-related software.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Experience with Hawaii state and federal laws.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Partnership: Align HR strategies with business goals, consult management on HR matters, and improve performance outcomes.
- Employee Relations: Advise employees and leadership, mediate disputes, and promote a positive work environment.
- Talent Management: Support recruitment, onboarding, retention, workforce planning, and succession planning.
- Health and Safety: Promote workplace safety and wellness programs, ensuring compliance with OSHA and other safety regulations.
- Compliance Management: Ensure the organization complies with all local, state, and federal labor laws and regulations, including maintaining up-to-date knowledge of changes in legislation.
- HR Metrics and Reporting: Track and analyze HR metrics to identify trends, inform decision-making, and improve HR processes.
