AEXP Express LLC, one of the nations leaders in Contract Delivery Service for the United States Postal Service, with locations nationwide, is currently seeking applicants for a Part Time Driver Recruiter in Springfield, Virginia.
The Driver Recruiter will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable route drivers for the organization.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process.
- Collaborates with operations to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
- Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies.
- Develops job postings and advertisements.
- Coordinates with current drivers and postmasters on unique aspects of each job.
- Screens applications and selects qualified candidates.
- Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring andselection materials.
- Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
- Creates an effective and efficient interview process and thoroughly documents results.
- Collaborates with the Operations Manager during the offer process, identifying compensation, benefits, vehicle use reimbursements, start dates, and other pertinent details.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
- Develops and utilizes social media channels to enhance applicant flow.
- Conducts Onboarding for New Hires.
- Collaborates with Payroll to ensure all new hires are compensated properly.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Candidates must have a minimum of one (1) year previous recruiting experience.
- Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with laws, regulations and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
- Proficient with applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.
- Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies.
- Experience with Behaviorally Based Interviewing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Previous experience with Human Resources Information Systems (Bamboo preferred).
- Proficient with the use of smartphone apps.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Associates degree in Human Resources Management or Business Administration preferred.
- Project Management experience desired.
- Talent Acquisition Specialty credentials a plus.
- SHRM certification preferred
JOB DETAILS:
- Work Schedule: Available to be scheduled as needed Monday through Friday (~4 hours per day).
- Shift Times: 9:00AM to 1:00PM or 1:00PM to 5:00PM
- $30.00/hour
- Holiday Pay:11 Paid Holiday's [Government Holidays observed] (Pro-rated for Part-Time)
- Vacation Pay: 1 Week after one year of service (Pro-rated for Part-Time)
