Job Summary : Express Employment in Bellingham is recruiting a Food Packing & Quality Assurance Technician for a busy production company in Bellingham. This company has upward mobility and always hires from within, profit sharing, and looking for their next long-term employee! Pay : Earn $18.72 per hr. Increase in pay after the probationary period
Shift : 9 : 00PM-5 : 00 AM Night Shift, with a rotating seven days a week schedule
Location : Bellingham, WA
Position Type : Evaluation to Hire
Job Duties & Responsibilities include :
- Document monitoring on quality control and HACCP records and report deviations to production and quality assurance supervisors
- Identify, segregate, and place on hold con-conforming product and follow up with documentation of corrective actions
- Conduct pre-start sanitation inspections of processing equipment. Document and report unsatisfactory conditions to supervisors
- Conduct laboratory tests of various physical, chemical, and microbiological characteristics of products and packaging materials
- Maintain laboratory in clean, orderly, organized condition-Using proper loading technique will load and operate the thawing machine
- Document all data as required
- Lead by example in observing GMPs, Company’s 8 shared values, and all company policies regarding employee conduct
- Keep a clean workspace
- Identifying and troubleshooting issues
