Millwright Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Millwright to join our team at a local manufacturing company in Sumas. This is a long-term opportunity that offers a chance to work for a reputable company known for its commitment to employee care and providing world-class service.
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain the smooth operation of machinery and mechanical equipment.
- Troubleshoot specific industrial equipment using precise measuring and testing instruments.
- Dismantle and reassemble equipment using hand and power tools.
- Utilize Maximo, a computerized maintenance management system.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Millwright.
- 3 years of Maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent working knowledge of appropriate use of hand tools and maintenance equipment.
- Must be able to work with computer-based maintenance software.
- Must supply own hand tools appropriate to the equipment and environment.
