Express Employment Professionals is hiring production / packaging associates for a long-term opportunity at a busy warehouse in Bellingham. This is a great position for someone wanting to wear multiple hats, as you would be doing both packaging and production! Pay : Earn $17.66 / HR

Shift : Monday-Friday, 8 : 00 am-5 : 30 pm

Position Type : Evaluation Hire

Location : Bellingham, WA

Job Duties & Responsibilities include :

Packaging :

Ensure products meet quality standards through regular line audits
Operating equipment and machinery
Ensuring machinery runs smoothly and cleanly
Identify and dispose of defective product
Checking to ensure packages are damage-free
Maintaining a clean workstation and observing all company and production floor safety
Following packaging production guidelines and specifications
Preparing for the next production day
Record keeping
Dishwashing
Provide training and educational materials to staff if needed

Production :

Monitor food cooking machines and adjust the controls for devices if needed

Program kitchen equipment to operate according to company and recipe standards and make changes to cooking temperature and time

Load raw and wet ingredients into the mixer and measure the amount needed by following company recipes and industry standards

Comprehend written instructions and recipes from the company when putting together ingredients and starting a new batch of products

Depositing batter

Baking racks put into ovens at assigned temperatures and times

Remove the finished product from the production line and push batches to the cooling area, in preparation for packing

Verify that each finished item meets the quality standards of the company by observing the size and shape of each baked product
