Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Carpenter/Laborer to join our team. Our main focus is deck building. We will take interior remodeling projects such as basements, kitchens, etc. during the winter months. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and a commitment to quality craftsmanship. We target the NW, west and northern suburbs and will occasionally take jobs outside this area as appropriate. Paid drive time is offered as appropriate. The Carpenter/Laborer will be responsible for executing tasks that require both technical skills and physical strength.
Duties
- Frame out decks per plans and instructions.
- Perform moderate lifting and assist in the transportation of materials to job sites.
- Execute construction painting tasks as required for various projects.
- Engage in concrete forming activities, ensuring proper setup and alignment.
- Carry out trim carpentry work, including installation of moldings and finishes.
- Participate in remodeling projects, transforming spaces according to client specifications.
Experience
Candidates should have prior experience in carpentry or labor-intensive roles within the construction industry. Familiarity with the following skills is highly desirable:
- Moderate lifting capabilities to handle materials safely on-site.
- Proficiency in construction painting techniques.
- Knowledge of concrete forming processes and best practices.
- Skills in trim carpentry for detailed finishing work.
- Experience in remodeling projects.
