Seeking a highly motivated professional for the position of Internal Business Communications Lead Analyst to help support Evernorth’s Care Management & Express Scripts organization. The candidate selected for this role will be responsible for planning and tactical delivery of a variety of internal communications activities aimed at helping to enhance the performance of the organization and engage employees around Evernorth Care Management & Express Scripts growth strategy and priorities. This includes employee awareness, engagement, and connectivity to business programs, projects, initiatives and objectives. This person will also work closely with stakeholders and business enabling partners including business strategy, human resources and corporate communications to ensure tactical and message alignment and support strategies designed to drive forward The Cigna Group mission and values.
Key Responsibilities
For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 74,000 - 123,400 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement communications tactics to engage and motivate employees – proactively storytelling about organizational strategic priorities, employee engagement and culture initiatives, and enterprise mission and values.
- Lead routine employee communications in coordination with corporate communications, human resources, employee engagement committees and strategy enablement colleagues to drive effective employee response.
- Create and edit content for a variety of employee communications channels, including internal intranet microsites, newsletters, meetings, and email, among others.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders – maintaining open lines of communication, address concerns, and provide updates to ensure alignment. Leverage internal contacts and relationships to create pipeline of internal storytelling ideas, recognition opportunities, and service awards.
- Monitor, track and evaluate the success of tactics to optimize and continually improve internal business communications. Develop clear KPIs to demonstrate ROI of each internal communications program.
- Follow appropriate processes and obtain final approvals from subject matter experts, project owners, key business partners, and compliance/legal team, as required.
- Minimum 4 years of internal communications or related experience in a corporate or agency setting
- Bachelor’s degree in communications or related discipline
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Keen attention to detail, and ability to adhere to various style guides
- Demonstrated flexibility to work and thrive in a dynamic/fast-paced work environment
- Adept at planning, managing and prioritizing work to meet tight deadlines
- Highly Proficient in Microsoft products (PPT, Word, Excel, etc.) – Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator skills a plus
- Experience working with digital tools and website platforms to upload content
- Strategic, entrepreneurial and creative mindset
- Collaborative and energetic approach to teamwork, with passion to provide hands-on support
