What are the responsibilities and job description for the Push Camera Operator / Pipe line inspection position at Express Sewer & Drain, Inc.?
Express Sewer & Drain, Inc. is seeking a full-time Push Camera Operator to perform closed circuit television (CCTV) inspection of sewer and storm drain utilities via a push camera system in the Northern California area. On the job training will be provided for the successful candidate. Training will be done in the Sacramento area at our Rancho Cordova Headquarter office for a minimum of 2 weeks. This position will require occasional travel throughout California with company provided vehicle. Express Sewer & Drain, Inc has a great working environment, excellent benefits, and competitive pay. Requirements:
- Drug free: Must pass pre-employment drug test.
- Subject to random drug tests.
- Clean and valid DMV record/CA License. Commercial Driver License is a plus ($500 bonus upon hiring with Class A License).

Responsibilities:
- Perform CCTV inspection to assess sewer and storm drain pipe condition. Must be able to identify pipe material, pipe diameter, and recognize various pipe defects.
- Locate and mark sewer and storm drain utilities on private property and in public right of way
- Read provided construction documents to determine work area. Must be able to identify discrepancies/errors from what is drawn on map and what is existing in field.
- Accurately update maps with field information and record data on daily inspection log.
- Effectively communicate with homeowners, team leaders, various agencies’ representatives, vendors, and customers.
- Maintain daily inspection quota set by team lead.
- Adhere to strict safety rules and requirements.
- Maintain high level of customer service.
Prior Experience/Certification is a PLUS:
- Commercial Driver License
- NASSCO Certification
- Traffic Control and Flagger Certified
- OSHA Training
- Confined Space Entry Certified
- Plumbing experience
- Utility locating experience
- CCTV inspection experience
- Vaccon or Hydro jetting experience
Training Required in Rancho Cordova for a minimum of 2 weeks. Must be able to travel for training.
