Essential duties and responsibilities

Join our team as an IT Field Specialist , where you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of IT systems and equipment across our car wash locations. At Express Wash Concepts, our mission is to enhance our people, communities, and cars through the power of clean.

Duties and Responsibilities :

Perform IT maintenance and complete service requests promptly.

Conduct preventative maintenance on IT equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance.

Document service activities, preventative maintenance tasks, and corporate credit card expenditures.

Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues reported by on-site staff.

Repair or replace defective components and parts as needed.

Monitor system performance and security to identify and mitigate potential vulnerabilities.

Install, configure, and test new IT equipment and systems.

Assist with new site builds by pulling network cables, mounting, and connecting servers, switches, routers, and other hardware in racks or cabinets.

Communicate effectively with on-site staff to address their needs and concerns.

Adhere to all safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Source and order necessary parts for repairs and maintenance.

Perform other duties as assigned to support IT operations.

Job Requirement

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree in IT or a related field preferred.

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

Ability to use power tools as needed.

Capability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Solid understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking technologies.
