Healthcare Radiographer
We are seeking a skilled Healthcare Radiographer to join our ExpressCare Urgent Care team. As a key member of our medical team, you will be responsible for maintaining effective patient throughput while assisting the provider in delivering high-quality patient care.
Key responsibilities include:
- Utilizing proper positioning and radiation exposure to obtain high-quality x-rays
- Creating accurate and legible patient records
- Operating diagnostic equipment such as EKG machines and digital x-ray systems
- Preparing and collecting specimens for in-house and outside lab testing
- Providing exceptional patient care and satisfaction
- Communicating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in the EMR
Requirements for this position include:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Completion of an associate's degree or equivalent
- Completion of an approved R.T. program
- ARRT Certification; Maryland State Radiographer License
- Minimum one year of clinical experience in a physician's office or hospital
- CPR Certification
- Must have reliable transportation and be willing to work at any center due to staffing issues, center emergencies, or reductions in work
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work 12 plus hour shifts
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for longer periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, as needed
This is a full-time position working 3 shifts per week with rotating weekends. All centers are open 7 days a week, including holidays.
