We are seeking a skilled Radiographer to join our medical team. As a Radiographer, you will play a vital role in maintaining effective patient throughput and assisting the provider with standard patient care.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiography, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Obtaining quality x-rays using correct positioning and radiation exposure
- Generating CD copies of patient images
- Documenting patient information into the EMR
- Measuring and recording vital signs
- Conducting rapid lab tests
- Accurately recording lab results in the EMR
- Performing EKGs
- Applying orthopedic splints
- Assisting the provider with simple medical procedures
- Preparing and collecting specimens for in-house and outside lab testing
Requirements:
- Completion of an associate's degree or equivalent
- Completion of an approved R.T. program
- ARRT Certification; Maryland State Radiographer License
- Minimum one year of clinical experience in a physician's office or hospital (preferred)
- CPR Certification
