Radiographer - Full-Time or PRN
We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Radiographers to join our medical team in a fast-paced environment.
Immediate openings are available at multiple locations:
- Children's Urgent Care - Westminster, Eldersburg, Hampstead, Mt. Airy, Northwest, Owings Mills, Quarry Lake, Urbana, and Westminster
The position offers competitive hourly rates ($35-$40), opportunities for overtime and holiday premium pay, and a sign-on bonus of $2500 with full-time employment.
A comprehensive benefits package is included, featuring PTO, SSL, and 7 premium pay holidays. Eligible employees can enroll in health, dental, and vision insurance after 30 days of full-time work. A 401(k) plan with matching contributions is also available after one year.
Full-time employees work three shifts per week at their assigned location, which operates seven days a week from 9am-9pm. Open availability, including weekends and holidays, is required.
Job Summary
The Radiographer plays a vital role in maintaining efficient patient throughput and collaborating with healthcare providers to deliver high-quality patient care.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Obtaining high-quality x-rays using correct positioning and radiation exposure
- Generating CD copies of patient images
- Documenting patient information into the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Measuring and recording vital signs
- Conducting rapid lab tests
- Accurately recording lab results in the EMR
- Performing EKGs
- Applying orthopedic splints
- Assisting the provider with simple medical procedures
- Preparing and collecting specimens for in-house and outside lab testing
- Adhering to established policies and procedures
- Attending staff meetings as scheduled by Upper Management
- Completing checklists and tasks such as supply inventory assigned within the shift
Minimum Requirements
- Age: 18 years or older
- Education: Associate's degree or equivalent, required
- Training: Completion of an approved R.T. program, required
- Certifications: ARRT Certification; Maryland State Radiographer License, required
- Experience: Minimum one year of clinical experience in a physicians office or hospital, preferred
- CPR Certification, required
