Assistant Art Teacher

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate Assistant Art Teacher to join our team at Expressions Art Studio! The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering creativity and self-expression in students of all ages. This role involves teaching various art techniques and supporting students on their creative journey.

No need to plan curriculum or activities unless you would like to. No need to provide materials. We already have activity plans, instructions, materials, supplies, and everything you need to assist in art classes at Expressions Art Studio!

Responsibilities

• Teach various art forms, including drawing, painting, and mixed media.
• Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages creativity and self-expression.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their artistic growth.
• Collaborate with other educators and personnel at Expressions Art Studio.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in art education.

Qualifications

• No experience necessary
• No degree or minimum education requirements necessary
• Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with students from diverse backgrounds.
• A passion for educating young minds through the arts and a commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment.

Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 – 40 per week
