Electronics Repair Technician (Entry Level - New Grads Welcome!)

Entry Level - Electronics Repair Technician 7:00am-3:30pm, Mon-Fri Pay Rate: $14.00-$15.00 benefits after 90 days   ExpressPoint Technology Services, Inc., a distributor of a broad range of technology products and depot maintenance services, has full-time openings for multiple Electronics Technicians.  This is an ideal stepping stone for new graduates starting for a career in the electronics repair field. We offer a fast-paced and fun environment with excellent benefits and opportunities for growth.  This position will be diagnostic and component level repair for servers, network and/or wireless products. Our ideal candidate is also comfortable using a computer (Word, Excel, Outlook).  Job Duties Performs repairs to a component level on assemblies of intermediate complexity electronic assemblies. Uses advanced test equipment such as Oscilloscopes to verify failures and repairs. Able to read and interpret customer schematics, BOMs and other supporting documentation with minimal instruction.  Diagnoses problems based on documented troubleshooting trees. Tests, updates and performs low-level repairs on customer product using test stations and soldering equipment and/or tools. Prioritizes activities based on production schedule or as directed by supervisor. Accurately maintains and reports all required production data. Unpacks, cleans, re-labels and re-packages product in relation to above activities. Performs other duties and special projects as assigned. Education/Training AA/AS in Electronics and/or 2 years post-high school trade school or military training in electronics   An equivalent combination of education and experience Other Skills Good understanding of computer systems and software programs Must be able to use tools and work aids such as but not limited to oscilloscopes, digital voltmeters, soldering and de-soldering equipment and other industry standard test equipment Good understanding of ESD requirements. Knowledge of basic electronics to perform assigned job duties High school level math, reading and writing skills desirable Good communication and interpersonal skills Must be flexible, adaptable and able to learn new methods and procedures as requested or required to meet company and customer needs
