7:00am-3:30pm, Monday-Friday
Pay: $16.00-$18.00/hr Benefits after 90 days
ExpressPoint Technology Services, Inc., a distributor of a broad range of technology products and depot maintenance services, is looking for a full-time Facility Maintenance. The position will perform basic building repairs (basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, doors, lighting, etc.) and preventative maintenance for company equipment, infrastructure and keeping the facilities in good working condition. The incumbent will not be responsible for maintaining heavy equipment or major repairs. This position is a great opportunity for a flexible entry-level or mid level maintenance professional, handyman or anyone with a strong mechanical aptitude that would enjoy working in a friendly, fast-paced environment.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for maintaining and repairing physical structures and utility systems of the building and grounds.
- Responsibilities include painting and performing structural repair to masonry, woodwork, and furnishings of buildings and maintaining/repairing building utility systems such as electrical wiring and controls, heating and ventilating systems and water distribution/plumbing systems.
- Maintain all records pertaining to preventative maintenance program (ISO)
- Engages with the Safety Committee and follows up on action items as necessary.
- Direct involvement on the Internal Recycling and Electrostatic Discharge programs and manages daily inspections of forklifts and fire exits to ensure compliance with OSHA standards.
- Ensure timely, tactful, and respectful communication with all internal and external customers.
- Follow all policies and procedures.
- Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Education: High school diploma and/or vocational/trade school is preferred
- Experience: 3 years Building and Material Handling equipment maintenance experience
- PRequired to safely operate a variety of power tools.
Salary : $16 - $18
