What are the responsibilities and job description for the Brake Press Operator position at ExpressPros - Madison?
Our client is looking for Brake Press Operators and Metal Finishers on 1st and 2nd shifts! Come work for a well-known growing organization who prides themselves in promoting internally. This facility is well lit, and temperature controlled. We are reviewing candidates with experience from all types of industries, but longevity in previous roles will play a key factor in hiring.
Pay: $16/hr to start
***Potential to earn a shift differential on 2nd and 3rd shifts
Schedules:
1st shift Monday-Friday 6:00am to 2:00pm
2nd shift Monday-Friday 2:00pm to 10:00pm
**May need to train on 1st shift**
Work includes:
- Set up and operate a hydraulic press or punch press
- Select correct tooling for the job
- Report and document basic material, production, and quality control issues
- Read work orders or production schedules to determine specifications
Qualifications:
- Manufacturing experience
- Machine operating experience
- Previous press brake experience WITH set up is a huge plus!
- Basic math skills
- Ability to read and understand blueprints
