What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fabrication Machine Operator position at ExpressPros - Madison?
We are now hiring a Machine Operator on 1st shift in Watertown! This is a custom metalwork shop who largely supports the agriculture industry. We are looking for candidates with a background in fabrication who has at least 3-5 years of experience. Ability to read a tape measure is required.
Starting Wage: $18-$21/hr. based on experience
Schedule: Monday-Thursday 5am-3:30pm
Work includes:
- Operate overhead crane to load large materials onto machine
- Setup plasma machines, brake press, and other equipment
- Inspect finished parts for quality
- Troubleshoot minor maintenance issues on CNC or other machines
- Lift 50 lbs repetitively, and stand for extended periods
- Cross-train as needed
